Our principal dentist, Ric, has over 21 years of experience in general dental practice and he holds the Diploma in Conscious Sedation from King’s College London. On your first visit, we will ask you about your dental issues and where you would like your smile to be. Our dentist will formulate a treatment plan and give you a written cost estimate. We will go through your cost estimate to ensure you understand your treatment plan and financial options.
Our clinic is fully equipped with state of the art technology including digital 3D scanners, a CT scanner and smile makeover equipment.
We only provide fully comprehensive dental care with a focus on rectifying dental disease, prevention and giving you the smile you deserve.

Yes! This consultation is worth £100, but free of charge if the dentist thinks he can help you after you fill out the online registration form.
If you are new patient who is looking to improve your smile with dental implants, veneers or Invisalign®, then it may be worth booking to to see how our dentist can help you. How much will my hygienist visit cost me?
New patients have the option to book one of the following consultations:
- £60 for a basic scale + polish
- £80 for a basic scale + bicarbonate clean (stain removal)
- £150 for a deep clean/extensive stain removal
You have the option to have fluoride protection treatment for an additional £40.

What treatments do you offer?
At Herts Dental, we offer a comprehensive range of dental treatments for adult patients, includidng:
-Emergency care
-General dentistry: fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures and root canals

-Invisalign clear braces for teeth alignment
-Sedation dentistry for adult patients: IV sedation

-Periondontics for gum disease
-We also accept referrals from local dentists for complex management of dental cases
How do I pay for my treatment?
We have set prices for the majority of our treatments. After the dentist has carried out your assessment, it will be explained to you what you need and how much it will cost. You will be given an itemised treatment plan, which will be explained in detail.
We offer Pay As You Go, which means you pay a deposit to reserve your next treatment slot and clear you balance as each treatment item is completed.
You also have the option to have 0% interest-free finance to help spread the cost over 12 monthly payments.
I am a nervous patient
We are expert at treating nervous patients. The first thing we do is listen to your concerns so that we can relay to you what exactly your problem is. We offer you the time during your consultation and treatment processes so that we are not rushing your care. Also by not rushing, our dentists are relaxed and can provide your treatment in a positive environment. We have techniques to minimise or most times eliminate the pain of dental injections!
For those patients who are super nervous or for complicated procedures, we offer IV sedation for patients over the age of 16.
I need to see a hygienist
We have a dental hygienist who provides the care for our regular and new patients. If you are a new patient, you have the option to see the hygienist directly, without having to see the dentist. We kindly ask that you have seen a hygienist on a regular basis and don’t have any major gum problems; if not, please book with the dentist for an up-to-date assessment of your gum condition.
Our hygienist costs are £60, £80 or £150, depending on the complexity of your gum condition. We also offer stain removal during your hygienist appointment. In addition to your hygienist teeth cleaning, our hygienist also provides fluoride protection treatment for £40.
If your gum condition is straight forward, then only one hygienist session will suffice. If you have advanced gum problems then you may need multiple hygienist sessions. If you think you fall into the latter category, please book with the dentist for an assessment.
