If you have multiple dental issues such as decayed teeth, broken filling, gum problems, missing teeth, loose teeth that need to be extracted and a smile that you’re unhappy with, then you may require our top level assessment. This is known as the FULL MOUTH DENTISTRY ASSESSMENT.

No treatment is carried out during your assessment stages (unless you have an emergency issue) and this is usually carried out over two extended appointment sessions.

We will use state of the art digital planning equipment, including digital smile photography analysis, 3D scanning of your teeth, digital x-rays and CT scanning and show you the results. It is essentially like taking your car to the mechanic and showing you the problem under the bonnet.

During the consultation stages, we will ascertain what issues you are experiencing and where you would like your teeth and smile to be. It’s a bit like planning an extensive restoration to your house- you get the planners, architect and builders involved and after a thorough discussion we will suggest a treatment plan according to your wishes and budget.

We appreciate that having good quality dentistry can consume into your finances. For this reason, we can offer pay monthly finance at 0% interest-free. We also offer a great 20% off our veneer and implant prices for patients undergoing full mouth dentistry.

For most of our cases, we follow the 10 steps outlined below. Your case may not need the full 10 steps, e.g. if you are free from tooth decay, gum disease and your teeth are well aligned, then we can omit 3 of the steps, thus making your treatment finish sooner.

•  2. Disease stabilisation- getting rid of bad teeth without compromising your smile

 

•  3. Ensuring your gums are of optimal health

 

•  4. Removing the decay from your teeth and replacing them with secure restorations

 

•  5. Optimising your bite by making it more balanced. We follow the principals of occlusion to make sure you have as many teeth as possible when you bite down, thereby distributing your bite forces and optimising canine guidance, anterior guidance and lateral excursive movements

 

•  6. Aligning your crooked and gappy teeth with Invisalign®

 

•  7. Designing your smile digitally, testing it in your mouth without drilling any teeth to ensure you are happy with the prototype. Then placing your veneers/crowns to enhance and protect your smile

 

•  8. Replacing your missing teeth. Planning your teeth implants with our 3D teeth scanner, 3D CT scan bone scanner and using “Robonav” to accurately plan the placement of your implants precisely.

 

•  9. Once we have completed your treatment on your teeth and smile, they more than likely need to be protected from unwanted biting forces (clenching and grinding) when you sleep. The gold standard is you provide you with a protective mouth guard called a Michigan splint.

 

•  10. Future maintenance schedule. Once we have signed you off, we will schedule regular simple check-ups and hygienist visits to ensure your teeth and smile last a long time.
