Our clinic is based a short walk from Watford Junction Station. Because of the excellent transport links, we see patients from all over Hertfordshire and London.

 

Our aim is to provide high quality dental care in a non-rushed environment. We want our patients to have healthy teeth and the main focus of your care will be on prevention and minimising the risk of dental problems from recurring. By following our preventative measures, you will save money and keep your teeth smile for longer.

Alongside cosmetic and implant dentistry, we focus on treating three main diseases:

 

1) Periodontal disease- healthy gums are the foundation to strong teeth

 

2) Tooth decay- rotten teeth are a major cause of tooth loss. It is common to have tooth decay even if you don’t have any pain 

 

3) Occlusal disease- this is when the bite is imbalanced or when the patient has a tendency to clench and grind their teeth. Teeth grinding can lead to further wear and tear or destruction of your dentition. There are various methods to harmonise your bite and get a mutually protected occlusion.

You know exactly how much you will be paying. We are upfront with our fees. After we complete your assessment, you will be made aware of your treatment choices and the costs. You decide when you are ready to commence treatment.

 

Dental implants. Complex procedures such as bone grafting and sinus surgery are provided at Herts Dental. We also offer same-day implant teeth and simple mini implant treatments.

 

Invisalign. Thinking of getting your teeth straightened? Have a digital scan with our Trios machine to see how your teeth can be aligned.

 

Routine general care. 6-monthly check-ups, hygiene cleaning, white fillings, root canals, dentures and teeth extractions are provided to keep your mouth healthy. An mouth cancer screen is provided when have your dental check-up.

 

Cosmetic dentistry. Composite bonding, cosmetic bonding, SmileFast veneers, porcelain veneers and teeth whitening are procedures to make your smile permanently beautiful.

 

Safe mercury filling removal. We use rubber dam techniques- it’s like a “raincoat” which goes over the tooth so you don’t ingest the mercury water when we are removing your old metal fillings. White fillings are strong and last a long time.

 

Sedation. Our dentist, Ric, gained his Diploma in Conscious Sedation from King’s College London. We offer both IV and gas & air techniques for nervous patients and those with gag issues.

 

Pay Monthly. For advanced treatments, you can choose to spread the cost of your dental care. We offer 3, 6 or 12 months interest-free. Finance from 24-60 months can also be arranged. You can choose the pay the loan off earlier if you wish.

 

We use the latest technology. We have invested heavily into modern techniques so that patients get the best care. We have an on-site CT scanner for planning implants, a Trios scanner for gag-free impressions, instant digital x-rays, and digital photography.

 

Feel comfortable at our clinic. Our upgraded dental chair is super comfortable with a memory foam mattress feeling.

 

Referral clinic. We accept referrals from local dentists to treat their patients for surgical, restorative and implant dentistry and also offer advanced treatment planning sessions.

 

We are super clean. We have always maintained a clean environment for our staff and patients. We have a dedicated room where we clean dental instruments. All clinical areas are thoroughly disinfected after each patient.
