What to expect at my free video consultation with the dentist

How much is the video consultation?

The value of the time the clinic spends on arranging your video consultation is £50, but it is completely free of charge! All we kindly ask is that you give the clinic sufficient notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange, as last minute cancellations put our clinic and patients at a disadvantage 🙂

What is the purpose of this consultation?

All new patients who wish to register as a patient with the clinic are recommended to have this video consultation. It’ll allow you to meet our experienced dentist, talk to him about your dental problems and what your future dental goals are. The dentist may give you some treatment suggestions. Please note that although this is not a formal consultation, our experienced dentist will get an idea of what your treatment options may be.

How can I prepare myself for my video consultation?

We understand that some patients may find the concept of a virtual consultation daunting or they may be nervous. Don’t worry- we’re here to help!

-Please ensure you are seating comfortably in a well lit room

-Ensure you are free from distractions and not in your car

-It may help to have a family member join in with you to help you understand/translate

-Please don’t be nervous

-We promise not to judge you on how bad your teeth may be 🙂 We totally respect the fact that you have plucked up the courage and made the first step in contacting us about your dental issues

What happens after this video consultation?

If the dentist thinks he may be able to help you, he’ll suggest for you to book in for a formal face-to-face assessment at the clinic. Here are your options:

 

  •  £100 consult fee | SPECIAL OFFER | FULL CHECK UP
  • A £25 one-off secure card payment will be taken over the phone to reserve your commitment to attending; you’ll pay the remaining £75 when you attend for your consultation | The £25 deposit is taken to reserve your one hour long slot at the clinic and is fully refundable if you cancel/reschedule by giving the clinic at least 24 hours notification

 

  •  £25 Quick check-up | Suited for patients with ONE major problem | A £25 one-off secure card payment will be taken over the phone to reserve your commitment to attending | The £25 deposit is taken to reserve your slot at the clinic and is fully refundable if you cancel/reschedule by giving the clinic at least 24 hours notification

Why do you take a reservation fee at the time of booking?

This is to reserve your time slot. In the past, we have had patients book long appointment slots and failed to turn up for their appointment or cancel last minute. This leaves our clinic, dentist, staff and patients at a disadvantage, because we could have helped an emergency patient in pain and it just alters the time table for the clinic.
